Moscot opens Copenhagen flagship

Moscot, a 106-year-old New York City eyewear brand, opened its 18th store in Copenhagen, Denmark. This is the eighth European Moscot shop. The store is located in Kobmagergade 51b.

The Moscot Eyewear Collection will be showcased in the new flagship. It will also feature familiar touches such as tchotchkes and vintage furniture. Tin ceilings that were made in New York are essential to Lower Manhattan’s historic architecture. It is centrally located in Copenhagen, near the Round Tower.

“My Danish design studies have greatly influenced and shaped my design sensibility.” Zack Moscot, chief designer office, stated that he has always loved Danish design culture. He said it was an honor to share a little of the iconic NYC roots with this historic city.

Dr. Harvey Moscot, the CEO and owner of the company, stated that Copenhagen was an international gateway city and that it had a rich cultural appeal and authentic community of Moscot supporters.

Moscot currently has 17 shops around the world, including New York City, Los Angeles and London. They plan to expand their retail presence into 2022.
