Maya Tiroche, a London-based founder, created the line to give dogs the same luxury options as their owners. She worked as a personal shopper in luxury fashion markets such as Harrods and Saks Fifth Avenue. She works closely with some of the world’s most prestigious brands and department stores, which enables me to select the most unique and high-quality products for my clients.

“When I met my Cavapoo Pablo, I was in love with him instantly and wanted the best for him! We wanted to make something special for all our furry friends, no matter their size, because very few dog clothing companies offer quality products for large or medium-sized breeds.”

Pawshmere was founded to fill a need for luxury clothing for medium-sized and large dogs apart from offering custom pieces for giant breeds like St Bernard’s and Newfoundland’s.

The brand specializes in ethically and sustainably sourced cashmere for dogs. The brand’s debut design, named ‘Pablo’ after her dog, is made of the finest cashmere and is available in seven sizes and six colours.

Each piece is made from organic materials and nontoxic dyes. The collection was manufactured by a respected fair-trade company in Nepal to the highest standards.

Tiroche said: “It was very important to me that Pawshmere be a premium brand with ethically-produced items made to the highest standards. I am delighted to introduce Pawshmere dog lovers around the world.”

Pawshmere will launch in September. Prices vary depending on the size and breed.
