manager_1 British-American emerging designer Harris Reed is collaborating with Missoma in London to create jewellery.
Harris Reed x Missoma celebrates “opulence & glamour” while encouraging self-experience. It features a 49-piece demifine collection and a 15-piece fine capsule, including rings, pendants, bracelets, and earrings.
The launch of the gender-fluid jewellery on September 16th was conceived during a lockdown between Reed, Marisa Hordern founder Missoma and Reed. It is inspired by Reed’s romantic and gothic aesthetic as well as his love for flea market trinkets.
Missoma says the collection contains “new heirlooms that fluidity and inclusiveity” and features gothic symbols such as serpents, daggers and Georgian hands.

The demi-fine pieces can be made from recycled sterling silver, 18ct recycled gold vermeil, and gold plating. Harris Reed x Missoma Fine, on the other hand, is refined in 14ct solid, recycled gold, blue sapphire, conflict-free white, and black diamonds.
Reed commented on the collection by saying: “As a designer who works mostly with demi-couture clients and VIP clients,” Harris Reed said in a statement. They can still have a Harris Reed x Missoma ring or necklace to treasure for many years. I do this to try and give everyone a bit of Harris Reed magic.
Marisa Hordern, Missoma founder, said: “After more than a year inside the stage is now to make everyday our stage. Everybody has the right of expression, and we hope Harris Reed will enable people to be who they are.”

The Harris Reed x Missoma collection will be available starting September 16, and comes in a range of price points, ranging from 49 to 6,500 Pounds/64 to 8,396 US Dollars.
Reed, who graduated from Central St Martins London in 2005, has been a highly-respected emerging fashion designer for his gender-fluid style. Reed’s debut six-look collection, which featured his trademark fluidity and full-skirted Tulle paired with menswear tailoring, caught the attention of the fashion world in February.
