Alexa Chung’s YouTubes aren’t helping my hair, but they have helped me through locks down

She is not the first to admit that she may know too much about British personalities. It’s creepy. It might be. Perhaps not. We don’t know.

Let’s just say that if restraining orders were based on hours of watching someone’s YouTube channel then Alexa Chung, a British designer, model and TV presenter, would have a fairly strong case against me.

It started in 2018 with sporadic videos promoting and for the last couple of years has included tutorials (for makeup, skincare and how to dress), field trips to fashion shows and interviews with other glamorous, tousled hair women in which they give advice about dating or sleeping or throwing dinner parties from their tranquil, presumably-Santal 33-scented apartments.
