manager_1 Rains, a Copenhagen-based lifestyle brand of outerwear, will debut its fall/winter 2022 collection during Paris Men’s Fashion Week.
Rains will host a catwalk show at Palais de Tokyo for its fall/winter 2022 collection on January 20, as part of Paris Men’s Fashion Week.
This is the first Paris Fashion Week showcase for Rains. It also marks a return back to a physical catwalk format with a show called ‘We Come in Peace’. The collection ‘Skywatcher AW22’ will be presented.
Daniel Brix Hesselager (co-founder, creative director, Rains) commented on the Paris Fashion Week move. He stated in a statement that “our runway shows have helped [us] underline the brand aesthetics and narrative. The future has bigger aspirations and we need a truly international stage.”
Rains explains that the brand’s AW22 Skywatcher collection will be its largest collection. It will feature experimental branding, a new standalone bag design inspired by performance dry bags and its first solo boot design. This limited-edition release is planned.
The new collection will showcase Thermore’s upgraded insulation, new puffer silhouettes, and an all-new high function coat in Thermore’s signature crisp nylon.
Rainwear, transitional and thermal outerwear, layers and bags in vibrant colours inspired by the Northern Lights will be some of the other pieces.
