Wild, an eco-friendly deo brand, announces new UK partnerships

Wild, a sustainable and natural deodorant brand, has established new partnerships with some leading UK supermarkets and retailers as part of its expansion plans to reach as many people as possible.

Sainsbury’s, the supermarket giant, has agreed to allow Wild to launch its products online as well as in its 285 stores. These eco-friendly, refillable deodorants are the first to be 100% compostable and biodegradable. They are part of Sainsbury’s “future brands” initiative, which supports sustainable start-ups.

Wild also has 30 Waitrose stores in the UK and Republic of Ireland. It is currently available in 19 Boots stores in the UK. A further roll-out is planned for the new year.

Selfridges is the final UK partner, as the products of the retailer meet sustainability requirements and are included in the store’s Project Earth strategy.

Freddy Ward, Wild’s founder, stated in a statement that the last six months had been a blur and that it was incredible to see Wild on the shelves at more and more retailers. We want to make it as easy for customers as possible to switch to sustainable and natural products. Customers can pick up Wild in their weekly shops.

Wild was founded in 2019 by childhood pals Freddy Ward, Charlie Bowes Lyon and offers five scents. They are free of harsh chemicals like parabens or aluminium salts. Since April 2020, Wild has sold more than three quarters of a,000,000 100 percent biodegradable perfumes.
