manager_1 American retailer Walmart launched a new retail center with Netflix streaming service. It features ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘The Witcher’ merchandise.
This hub will be the US’s largest dedicated online shop for Netflix merchandise. This is the first ever digital storefront for Netflix with a national retailer, allowing customers to engage even more with their favorite shows.
Fans can now purchase apparel, music, and toys from their favorite shows, including Stranger Things, Nailed It!, The Witcher, CoComelon, and new shows such as Ada Twist, Scientist. You will soon find merchandise from the current show, Squid Game.
Walmart exclusives are many of these products, including the Stranger Things Crosely Bluetooth Cassette Player (and a Stranger Things Collector Box).
Jeff Evans, executive vice-president of entertainment, toys, and seasonal at Walmart US stated in a statement that Walmart will offer products that make the dreams of Netflix creators a reality. However, Walmart customers and Netflix fans will also be able to find an exciting new entertainment destination through this partnership.
“The Netflix Hub gathers some of the most popular shows in its first online storefront with a national retailer. We’re proud to be able to partner with them on this exciting new adventure that will allow our customers to dive deeper into their favorite stories and characters.”
This exclusive hub will offer innovative shopping experiences and voting systems that allow fans to vote for the products they want to see in premiere Netflix movies.
Evans said: “We’ll soon be launching a crowd-sourcing opportunity called Netflix Fan Select, which will give fans the chance to vote on merchandise they’d love to see on their favourite Netflix shows. Then Walmart merchants will bring these items to life!”
