New York’s Watching New York captured a video featuring Brooklyn’s most stylish men, all wearing cowboy boots. Emirhan Dalci, a user, made a TikTok video that highlighted the boots’ popularity on the streets in Milan, Italy. The Americana staple has become international.
The most sought-after options come from secondhand markets. According to thredUP (an online thrift store), searches for “cowboy” increased by 60% over the past four weeks compared to 2020 data. This spike was due to the release of Beyonce’s promotional video for the recently released Ivy Park x Adidas Rodeo line. In which Beyonce modeled the Western-inspired line, which included cow-print cowboy hats and denim chaps.
