Loafers, blazers, argyle and rugby shirts might sound more like classic boomer wardrobe staples, but with the preppy look back in fashion they are also increasingly likely to be found on 20-somethings this autumn. The Real Real, a luxury resale website, reports that searches for streetwear brands Vetements (25%) and Yeezy (24%), respectively, while searches to find the preppy Ralph Lauren (238%) are up. Depop has seen a 57% increase of searches for “prep” and “preppy” over June. Ralph Lauren searches have increased by 29%.
