Sergio Rossi appoints Style Heroine founder as Artistic Director

Sergio Rossi, an Italian shoemaker, has named Style Heroine founder as its new artistic chief.

Evangelie Syrniotaki started her online magazine in 2011 and has collaborated frequently with fashion brands as an influencer. This appointment will further cement her importance beyond the influencer sphere.

Smyrniotake will manage branding and identity. This includes advertising campaigns, content creation and styling. She reports directly to Sergio Rossi ceo Riccardo Scutto. Although the Athens-based fashionista won’t be joining the daily design team, collaborations and special capsule collections may be possible in the future.

“Sergio Rossi is an honor to be a part of this exciting time. I am looking forward to a new chapter and a great opportunity to work with the brand. “I have been a long-time admirer of the brand and I believe that it, supported today by Lanvin Group has only begun to realize its potential,” Smyrniotaki stated.

Sergio Rossi S.p.A. was fully purchased by Fosun Group, a Chinese conglomerate.

Sciutto stated in a statement that she was happy for Evangelie’s arrival and believes her knowledge about luxury shoes’ aesthetics and new media will add great value to the brand.

“Communication is changing a lot over the years,” Evangelie says. Today, brands must resonate with clients and use new communication tools. Sciutto stated that creative management is essential to ensure that communities are satisfied.
