Attention fashion-lovers from all walks of life! Old Navy will launch a new integrated shopping experience in stores and online, just in time to celebrate fall. The brand’s BODEQUALITY initiative promises all styles and sizes will be available at the same price. Old Navy has spent a lot of time perfecting the fit and size. You can now shop for jeans, activewear and other clothing without having to worry about spending extra money or worrying about what size you should order.

In an open letter to women everywhere, the brand declared: “It’s time to do the thing we always needed to do and completely revolutionize the shopping experience.” Old Navy shifted its focus to creating a more comfortable fit. A renowned researcher was consulted to help with 389 body scans of real women. Then, they put their new sizes to the test by fitting them in live models.

You’ll notice some much-needed changes to streamline the fit of products for ultimate comfort (and chicness). The sleeves of tops have been adjusted to prevent bras from peeking through. Jeans’ back rise, pitch and curvature has also been adjusted to reduce that annoying waistband gap. You can trust that the sizing will be consistent between products. This means you won’t have to guess your size or be disappointed when your package arrives in the mail.

Beyond the physical changes to products, the entire shopping process has been revamped to provide a totally democratic experience. Old Navy will no longer have separate sections or separate prices. Instead, all sizes from 0-28 will be on the same rack. Size 30 is also available online. New mannequins will be available in sizes 12-18 for each store. Online, you can view the item on a size 4, 12, or 18 model by using the toggle button on every product page.

Shopping for clothing can be stressful at times, but it doesn’t have to be, thanks to Old Navy’s BODEQUALITY efforts. To promote confidence and comfort while shopping, employees have been taught inclusive language. Old Navy is proud to announce this initiative.
