The brand stated that the event would be open to all and broadcast to more than 30 countries via L’Oreal Paris’ social media channels. Le Defile is a collaboration in fashion and beauty. The Champs Elysees hosted the first ever closed-traffic show in 2017.

L’Oreal Paris’s anniversary slogan “Because you’re worth it” is celebrated this year at the runway show. This theme was especially important after L’Oreal Paris launched the international Stand Up Against Street Harassment Program to train 1 million men and women in bystander intervention.

Many of the brand’s spokespersons will be present at the runway show, including Camila Cabello and Liya Kebede. Marie Bochet is also expected to attend. L’Oreal tries to cast models from all skin types, ages and hair types. L’Oreal Paris holds a Paris Fashion Week every fall since 2017. Last year, COVID-19 put a halt to their plans. Participating brands have included established luxury houses such as Balmain, but also younger brands such as Marine Serre.
