Kick Game, a British streetwear and sneaker retailer, has opened a new Manchester store. This is in continuation of its expansion that began earlier this year with a capital injection.

The store will be used by the retailer to launch its largest collection, other than its London flagship. Manchester will have a variety of exclusive and rare sneakers like Air Jordan 1s or Yeezy’s. There will also be apparel from Streetwear brands Trapstar and Supreme.

Kick Game was founded in 2013 by sneakerhead brothers Robert Franks and David Franks. It has successfully tapped into the growing market for rare, exclusive and limited-edition sneakers.

Robert stated in a release that Manchester is “a very diverse city” and said so in a press release. “But what unites them all is their mutual love for sneaker culture and streetwear. Kick Game is delighted to be a hub for Manchester’s sneaker-loving community. We can’t wait until we meet you all.”

This new store follows recent openings at Birmingham’s Bullring & Grand Central. Kick Game announced in September that it had received 3.5 million pounds of additional funding to allow it to expand in the UK as well as Europe in the next two-years.

The retailer’s revenue jumped from 4.8m pounds in FY20, to 20 million pounds projected in the 12 month to November 30,.

Based on the retailer’s current performance, it is targeting sales of 50,000,000 pounds by FY22.
