H&M and Sabyasachi Designer Brand Bring Indian Fashion to the High Street

Sabyasachi Mukherjee, the iconic founder of Sabyasachi fashion brand Sabyasachi, has teamed up with H&M to create a collection called Wanderlust. Wanderlust will be available in India, the United Kingdom and select H&M international shops. It includes rich, traditional Indian silhouettes and applied to Western and Indian styles.

“I am happy to announce the new date for the collaboration with H&M, as it gives us the opportunity to spread the Sabyasachi aesthetic to a wider audience in India and worldwide,” the designer and brand CEO said in a press statement. “We had to cancel the collaboration due to the Covid-19 situation. However, I am eager to launch this ready-to-wear collection which will bring relaxed sophistication and glamour to every day life in a simple yet elegant style.”

Sabyasachi and H&M’s Wanderlust collection features a full wardrobe of womenswear, menswear, and accessories created by the Sabyasachi Art Foundation using Indian textile and print traditions.
