Gap’s Kanye-Yeezy Gap hoodie was unveiled earlier this week. The launch didn’t attract a lot of attention, but the 90-dollar hoodie was quickly sold out in both adult and child sizes.
All adult sizes larger than XL were marked as sold out. Gap is attempting to attract younger customers with its plans to bring Kanye into their stores.
On Wednesday morning, shares of the company rose 6 percent. The Gap and Kanye deals are estimated to have a total value of around 970 million dollars. Kanye has a 10-year deal with the company.
