manager_1 Extra Butter, a streetwear boutique in New York has partnered up with Mitchell & Ness has created a capsule collection.
The collection celebrates the 75th anniversary of the basketball franchise and will be available exclusively at Extra Butter’s Long Island City store on December 17.
Extra Butter creative director Bernie Gross said, “To kick off the partnership, it was important to look at where the Knicks began.” “The team has been around as long as the NBA. ”
This collection features “vintage graphics” and type treatments based on Knicks iconography. It will be displayed in an Extra Butter pop-up area. Customers will have the opportunity to take a Pop-Ashot and shoot decor. Mr. Throwback is a vintage collector.
Extra Butter also joined forces with Chase, Marquee Partner at Madison Square Garden to create an enamel pin commemorating the purchase of an item from their collection using their Chase debit or credit card.
Gross stated, “We are very excited to continue working with the Knicks organization to keep bringing stories to the die-hard New York fans.”
The collection will be available at Extra Butter on December 17 and online at Knicks or Extra Butter webstores December 18.
